WANZ Window and Door manufacturers must file with WANZ by 1 January each year material certificates that certify the grade/s of profile materials used to manufacture windows and doors.
Consumers seek assurance that windows and doors are made from the appropriate grade of materials and are suitable for New Zealand conditions. The choice of materials determines durability and the structural strength including its resistance to high winds.
Durability includes good resistance to rot, corrosion and Ultra Violet light (UV degradation).
