Refurbishing

Powder coating will deteriorate over time but the rate of this will be determined by many factors that have been discussed in other chapters.

If your joinery has weathered and is dull you can use either proprietary products from powder manufacturers to polish, or most coatings will benefit from a light cutting automotive polish - ensure these are tested first in a concealed area.

Powder manufacturers also supply dab sticks and spray cans should your joinery have more severe damage.
